My understanding of ergonomic designs
I like the way my professor categorized Human Factors in Design into three levels:
Human Factors 1.0
Also known as comfort design, functional design. It is when we design something like an ergonomic mouse. Focus more on the physical and functional side.
Human Factors 2.0
Concentrate on cognitive ergonomics, it’s about mental processes, such as perception, memory, decision making.
Human Factors 3.0
Even deeper, it’s a design that evokes emotions, a design that inspires people
I enjoy finding the connections, the bonds between users and designs. We can't stop when the design meets the basic needs of users. We need to understand how users emotionally connect to the design, cultivated and crafted the final experience based on the reactions and feedbacks.

Thinking in Systems
See a structure where there’s nothing apparent
Deconstruct: breaking down a larger system into its modules, and reconstruct: putting it back together.
Adeptness
Adeptness at designing under constraints or changing requirements, hold alternative ideas in head and make considered decisions.
